Finally, after two months of coding and testing, Daily Streams 2.0 is now available on the iTunes App Store. This new version of Daily Streams comes with

  • Daily verses in NIV, ESV, NLT, NET, and KJV.
  • New Today screen.
  • New UI for iPhone/iPod Touch.
  • Support for landscape mode on iPad.
  • Support for notifications as daily reminders.
  • Add your own notes.
  • New images for iPad Retina Display.

The two major changes in this version are the addition of more bible versions for daily bible verses and the new iPad landscape display mode. Having bible verses in NIV, ESV, NLT, NET and KJV gives the reader more choices in bible translations.

iPad users will appreciate the new landscape mode as the previous version of Daily Streams only supported portrait mode.

My Favorite Christian Audio Podcasts

When I’m driving alone, I enjoy listening to Christian audio podcast that I burn as Audio CDs on rewritable CDs. It’s a great way to redeem the time. Here is my list of favorite Christian podcasts.

Willow Creek Weekend Messages

Bill Hybels is an excellent communicator, leader and pastor. I have been helped by his books like Who You Are When No One’s Looking, Fit to be Tied, and Axiom: Powerful Leadership Proverbs in my growth as a Christian. For the past 2 years I have attended Willow Creek’s Global Leadership Summit video sessions hosted by a local church in Malaysia.

Menlo Park Presbyterian Church

John Ortberg is a gifted Bible teacher and author. My favorite books of his includes If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got To Get Out of the Boat and The Life You’ve Always Wanted. You will enjoy listening to him teach on practical Christian living.

North Point Ministries: Andy Stanley

I only started listening to Andy Stanley this year and have been challenged by his insight and wisdom in living the Christian life.

New Hope Oahu: Message Series

It was only last year when I first heard about Wayne Cordeiro and SOAP Journaling. Since then, journaling and listening to Wayne Cordeiro’s messages have become a regular part of my Christian walk.

Hope you’ll find these audio podcast a blessing in your Christian walk too.
