Today God Is First Book Cover TGIF Devotional for 1st January

In 1997, Atlanta businessman Os Hillman began writing a daily e-mail devotional featuring 4-minute meditations on faith and work life. During a time of personal and professional adversity for Hillman, God was giving him words of life for his own situation and for millions of others who were struggling or simply wanting to know how to live out their faith at work.

For men and women in the workplace, this was just what they needed: practical help in applying their faith to their work life; encouragement to live out their faith; empowerment to be more effective in their jobs; support to become powerful witnesses at work; and examples of others who experienced the presence of God at work. It has since become one of the fastest growing e-mail devotions on line.

Now Hillman has written his second book of devotions. TGIF includes 365 all-new daily meditations on topics such as motives, handling disappointments, adversity, integrity, finances, decision making and much more.

Whether for individual quiet times, Bible study groups or workplace groups, these daily devotions will help you fulfill God’s call on your life in the workplace.

    Hi Victor

I had re-downloaded the January, tgif-01.jar, and the other jar for Daily in Christ, Streams in the Desert and Devotions by Warren Wiersbe. The title is showing January 2008, not 2009. Seems like the xml had not been updated as the applications does not open to the current date. It defaults to 1 January. My first download was on 31 Dec, so I thought it might be too early but after download again today, same thing. Just thought let you know.

    Thanks

Victor: I have updated the January devotional to show 2009! You may download them again! :-)

Thanks alot for the wonderful work you are doing. Am blessed with this stupendous work. It makes it easier for me to read and study God’s word. Sometimes, you find yourself in the want of reading the word of God while on the go and your work is actually being a help here. Thanks alot but for the Our Daily Bread, i think they should give you the right to continue with the creating .jar files and even .sis for symbian phones. you are not even charging for all these resources so they should give you the morale support rather than barring you from this all important work. God bless you
