My New Sony Ericsson P1i
I bought a Sony Ericsson P1i this week. It will replace my PEBL as my new hand phone.
Why did I buy a new phone? What’s wrong with the PEBL? Nothing, the PEBL is a wonderful phone for someone wanting a basic stylish clamshell phone. After using the PEBL for one and a half years, I decided to get a phone with a bigger screen and more features.
The P1i is a ‘feature-full’ phone. It has a QWERTY keypad that is great for messaging. I can surf the net using wifi or GPRS with the built-in Opera web browser. The Opera web browser is a huge improvement over the PEBL’s basic web browser. It also comes with a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera. You can read a detailed review of the Sony Ericsson P1i at GSMArena.
My favourite feature is the big 2.6” 320×240 pixels touchscreen. It is great for reading mobile devotions and the bible for mobile phone. It requires less scrolling and have better looking fonts compared to the PEBL.
