Observation Skills

Argh! My poor observation skill.

I’ve been learning in my Tuesday night class about observation skills when reading the Bible. One thing that I realized about myself, is that I like to read fast and I read different types of reading material pretty much the same way. Since I read the newspaper, a magazine, technical manuals and the Bible nearly the same way; suffice to say, my observation skills has plenty of room for improvement. I’ve decided to work on this. For a start, I am reading ‘the classic guide to intelligent reading’ – How To Read A Book by Mortimer J. Adler & Charles Van Doren.
