Leadership Training in Church

Last night and tonight, I was in church attending a series of leadership training sessions by Michael Koh. Yesterday, he shared about our devotional time as being a time where God finds us. Instead of us frantically searching for God, we should be still and God will seek us out.

Tonight, he talked about the 4 questions we should ask when approaching God and His word during our devotional time.

1. What are You speaking to me?
2. Why are You speaking this to me?
3. What is the key to change? (point of leverage)
4. What do you want me to do now?

We should not be trying to figure out the answers in our own mind. Not analyzing the questions to find an answer. Allow God to put a witness in our hearts. Hear the delicate little something. God’s word not only teaches us but will transform us.
